Based on an agreement between the French Microlight Association (FFPLUM) and the French Civil Aviation Authority (DGAC), a 2019 New French Microlight Regulation has been issued, where two-seater multiaxis with an MTOM of 500 / 525 kg (without / with parachute system) are considered as a microlight aircraft.
